English For ALL, EFALL for short, is a non-governmental organization (known as OSCIP in Brazil) with non-profitable purposes, that provides services by means of educational activities to other organizations of our civil society. It was created in 2003.
OUR MISSION: To use the teaching of English as a means for education in general, to help pre-adolescents as well as adolescents conquer, with autonomy, their dreams and ideals, thus enabling them to have a better future.
OUR VISION: To be able to extend this mission to each and every needy and under-privileged adolescent interested in benefiting from this additional knowledge both in his personal and professional life.
“Because English knows no boundaries, because by using the teaching of English, one is able to pass on ethical as well as educational values; because by developing the student’s oral and written communication, s/he will be eager to learn thus fostering his/her self-esteem”.
This project is directed towards needy adolescents between 11 and 17 years old enrolled in extra-curricular educational courses at non-governmental organizations. These students wish to be included in the English language learners’ group, for they see in this learning an opportunity to foster their knowledge, envisaging new perspectives for their future.
“Why learn English? Because English is the global language... it enables one to understand a foreign culture and its people... it promotes a chance for a better job ... Because it's interesting... and it can make your present as well as your future better”.
